Thursday and sales managers on Friday. Your registration for the meeting includes
breakfast, breaks, lunch, and a reception. This

register. EEO1Source
Open For Business Stations all over the country are
signing up for EEO1Source, the free EEO database service offered to member stations by
NJBA. This new Computer program does it all - lists and distributes your jobs, records
your interviews, tracks your hires and even prints out all of your required FCC reports.
All stations will be receiving brochure outlining the program. All members can register
right now, absolutely free of charge at the NJBA web site.
Here’s how. Click on the
EEO1Source logo, register your station group, and receive approval from NJBA via e-mail. Once you receive approval, go back to the website
and create a list of your stations. Once you
do this, the respective state association (NJBA) will again approve these applications and
you’re good to go. Have problems? Debbie
is ready to help at 1-888-NJBA-Fone. New
EAS Program Test ??? NJBA will join with other states in
testing a new web based portal for the direct activation of EAS from the Office of
Emergency Management directly to every station in the state using an existing station
computer and connecting it directly to the EAS box. Under this system, the OEM can have
direct access to all stations without the problems of the daisy chain. Further, the system
can deliver a voice message and well as pictures for TV. In addition, all emergency
updates are automatic. We will be testing the program shortly. If it delivers as we expect
it will, we will implement it at all stations at no cost to the stations whatsoever. National
Guard And Coast Guard Renew Both the New Jersey Army National Guard
and the US Coast Guard have renewed their annual NCSA programs with the New Jersey
Broadcasters Association. These NCSA programs along with the State NCSA’s help fund
all of the programs offered free to New Jersey Broadcasters Association members. The
EEO1Source, Mid Atlantic States Expo, Sales Seminars, etc. are just a few of the major
programs funded by the New Jersey NCSA program. We thank all of the states for their
continued cooperation and participation. From
NCSA To Cash NJBA was
scheduled to start a month long NCSA program for the Division of Motor Vehicles. The spots
were cut, the traffic orders went out, and at the last minute, working with the agency, we
were able to convert the NCSA to cash business. A
win win for everyone.
