Legislative Language Being DraftedThe latest update on the NJBA effort to protect the present audiences of FM stations is moving forward in Washington. The Senate Commerce Committee staff is drafting language for legislation that will protect and expand the existing contours of New Jersey FM stations. Several staffers met several weeks ago with the FCC and the Commission could not come up with any reasons why this legislation would be a problem. We are very optimistic that we will have a bill this year.
