For Mid Atlantic Conference
Registration is now open for
the Mid Atlantic States Conference. The conference will be held in Atlantic City from June
5 June 6, at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino, at Brighton and the Boardwalk. All registrations are on line. Simply go to www.njbroadcasters.org and click on the register
now tab. It will take you to the log in page; enter your pass code and then
register. If we have your e-mail address, you will receive an automatic confirmation via
e-mail. Its as simple as that. If you have a problem or need help, click on the help
tab and follow the directions. Remember, if you are going to the Best of the Best
Luncheon, its always sold out, so tickets are issued by registration dates. So

year, the 2006 Mid-Atlantic Broadcaster's Convention ends with a bang and this year will
be no exception. On Tuesday, June 6, 2006, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m., "Future
World," will feature delicious food and drink, DJ and dancing, as well as fantastic
games and unbelievable prizes, but with a twist. At the very end of this year's closing
party, over $1000.00 in cash and a Caribbean vacation will literally drop from the ceiling

Named Morning Host On WMGQ
Steve
O'Brien has been named the new morning host of Magic 98.3/WMGQ in New Jersey.
"Mornings with Steve O'Brien" will air Monday-Friday from 6AM -10AM.
O'Brien most recently worked at WCBS-FM in New York and Sirius Satellite Radio.
Prior to that, he served as an on-air personality at WYNY, WABC and WPLJ in New
York City. In addition, O'Brien served as a news anchor on WNYW-TV and sports reporter on
WNBC-TV. He has hosted news and interview programs for a variety of major companies
including IBM and has worked with executives to prepare them for broadcasts and

Best Deadline
Next week is the deadline
for getting the Best of The Best entries to NJBA for the prizes to be awarded at the Mid
Atlantic Conference. The awards celebrate the Best in New Jersey Radio and TV in the
following categories: News, Public Affairs, Promotion and Commercials. Awards must be
received at the NJBA office in Monroe no later than 5:00pm April 14, 2006.
